Job description


-Drive passive safety sensor business with JOEMs globally.

-Involve and align entire organization to execute customer projects successfully according to company values and KPIs, setting base for future business through customer satisfaction.

-Coordinate overall customer communication.


Internal Management Tasks:
-Run team meeting to develop and implement the PM strategy worldwide and manage operational tasks
-Consult WW team in implementation of product group strategy
-Cooperate with product line organization
-Secure synergies between PM teams and therefore between customers
-Definition and development of footprint to serve customer
-Supports resource planning, resource and competence management
-Daily administration (HRD, people development, budget control etc) for own department/team
-Support development and implementation of regional strategy
-Drive and/or support common activities and special tasks related to process optimization, standardization and continuous improvements

Customer Management:
-Act as technical key contact and first escalation level for the customer on project & management level in Europe
-Regular communication up to middle management level at customer
-Sharpen and influence customer's technical roadmap
-Adapt internal roadmap to customer requirements
-Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient project management and problem resolution
- Support series management activities related to e.g. to design change evaluation, change implementation for the customer in alignment with Series Management organization

Managing projects:
-Coordinate all customer related PM activities
-Review and monitor project status, progress and planning. Guide and review proper action planning in red project status and perform lessons learned
-Achieve established PM KPIs
-Ensure achievement of quality, cost and timing targets in assigned projects and drive proper project reporting

Managing Business:
-Lead and manage acquisition, pre-/development projects for the customers
-Lead the technical quote activities e.g. coordinate the collection of inputs for the quote to support the design, process etc.
-Sell internal roadmap/product lines to customers
-Manage overall relationship to customers as foundation for continuous order intake


- Background in automotive and/or electronic business, min. 10 years working in engineering, R&D and Project Management within automotive
- Familiar with automotive processes, R&D development process, Project Management processes for product development
- 5 years leading a group or team
- min. 7 years working in a international team
- working abroad experience preferred
- familiar with Adversity/Conflict management (customer, internal team), soft skills during communication (customer, internal team), English language (verbal and written) fluent
- familiar with Planning tools (MS Tools ),Task&Time Management, Risk Management, Configuration management, Escalation Management
- intercultural awareness and sensitivity
