Account Manager – will report to the Sales and Engineering Manager and will be responsible managing the technical sales activities for Smart Components Products.
Location: Tokyo, Japan
Responsibilities
- Become a focal point both internally/externally and coordinate projects with related stakeholders
- Define winning conditions like price, technical/quality requirements and timing
- Develop detail action plan to win business
- Manage program launches along with internal/external milestones
- Enlighten JOEM way/culture and drive/convince internal stakeholders
- Proactively identify customer pain points and drive CBI (Customer Back Innovation) to create differentiated value
- Drive customers with deep product design/manufacturing/testing knowledge
- Create necessary reports upon requests
- Demonstrates personal effectiveness and leadership that creates a culture of high performance.
Requirements
Position Skills and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in business or/and engineering, or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in automotive product design. Experience in designing automotive interior and/or exterior plastic injected products and/or automotive electrical and electronic components is a plus
- Sales and/or Project management and/or product development experience in automotive more than 5 years or equivalent
- Ability and experience to identify potential future products and trends
- Proven ability to manage complexity and change
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with experience in communicating and working with remote regions
- English capability under multinational working environment
- Working experience at foreign based companies
- Flexible working time to communicate with stakeholders in different time zone
- Native level Japanese, fluent English
