Job description

As a Customer Satisfaction Engineer, you will be responsible for organizing and executing product quality tasks. You will work in a quality role communicating and team building to customers and engineering team/plant to determine the best problem solution from both customers and  point of view.

Role:

  • Be a quality system expert and internal auditor for IATF 16949 certification.
  • And also be responsible for customer interface to collect the quality information and share the customer requirements and customer voice with team in a timely manner
  • Be aware of product delivery quality at customer assembly location, and performance in market 
  • Use and maintain Traceability System (called QSYS) with utilizing the local documents for tracking the status of problem solving and customer report
  • Participate in the necessary conference calls to accomplish above 3 responsibilities
  • Attend customer meetings, complete assigned action items and regularly report on progress 
  • Support Flawless Launch Activities, and deliver quality management system to customer(s) to get customer’s confidence

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of engineering and knowledge of automotive core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, etc)
  • Understanding of IATF 16949 or ISO9001 requirements and Experience implementing quality management systems including internal and external audits
  • Japanese Speaking (native) with English good Skills  Ability to perform risk analysis with problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5Why, etc)
