Main objectives

Development of innovative systems in the field of electro mobility and its components (Drivetrain)

Key responsibilities

  • Development, Implementation and tuning of Software used in prototype vehicles and test benches. Possibility to cooperate up to series development

  • Cooperation with other engineers of worldwide, eventually with suppliers and customers.

  • Use of current tools and processes.

  • Creation of Software for test benches, prototypes and pre-series samples.

  • Systematic development or application of drivetrain functionality concepts

  • Design or implement of functionalities for e mobility

  • Identify special local regulations for SW functionalities

  • Review of concepts under technical and economic aspects

  • Steering and coordination of projects within a certain area of responsibility

  • Drafting of project quotations including planning of expense, costs, and project schedule


Basic requirements

  • Master or bachelor in mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering or vehicle engineering

  • Interest in creative activities and new technologies

  • Knowledge in tool chains like Mathlab/Simulink software and/or other code generation software for Electronic Control Units

  • Use of application software for Electronic Control Units or Rapid Prototyping Systems like Vector Canape, dSpace Control desk or similar.

  • Comprehensive system failure root analysis (eg. CAN networks) and their measurement on the vehicle, test bench or rapid prototyping tool

  • Knowledge in control technology

  • Knowledge in Simulation Software like Dymola, Simulation X, Simscape and their link to the function development Software would be beneficial.

  • Passenger car Driving license, preferred Light commercial vehicle driving license
