Our clients is a global leader within their product domain, highly trusted by Japanese OEMs, with a strong and well-established footprint in Japan — something that is highly valued by customers in this market.
Key responsibilities:
- As the Sales Director, formulating and implementing growth strategies, and managing the team
- Leading the response to RFQs issued by the client
- Leading the estimation, profit verification and improvement of projects during the development phase
- Building relationships with the client (across various departments including purchasing, design, quality and production)
Requirements
- University degree
- Over 10 years experience in sales at a Tier-1 supplier in the automotive industry
- Mechanical / mechatronics components experience required
- English language skills sufficient for business and day-to-day communication
- The ability to communicate calmly with clients and internal stakeholders, and to make sound independent judgements or consult immediately with line managers or relevant parties
- The ability to maintain one’s own views and opinions whilst remaining flexible enough to incorporate feedback and instructions as the situation requires
- Native level Japanese / fluent English
