<Main Purpose and Scope of the Role>
As Sales Operations Sr. Manager for Japan, you will lead strategic and operational support for the Japan Sales team, ensuring efficient execution of sales processes, accurate forecasting, and effective use of digital tools such as ERP (e.g., SAP) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce). This role is critical in optimizing sales performance, maintaining compliance, and driving business growth in the Japanese market.
<Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities>
Customer Service
・Ensure smooth customer support during product delivery, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction
・Manage order processing to support sales representatives and enable seamless sales activities
・Monitor and adhere to delivery schedules, providing prompt and accurate responses to improve customer satisfaction
・Handle inquiries related to products, follow up on quality and delivery issues, and coordinate internally as well as negotiate when necessary.
・Promote skill development and process improvements within the team to enhance overall performance
・Collaborate closely with overseas offices to strengthen information sharing and coordination, driving service improvement
Demand Forecasting
・Provide regular forecast reports and actionable insights to support decision-making and operational efficiency in collaboration with Sales and SCM
・Monitor customer forecast accuracy and partner with the Sales team to improve performance
Operational Excellence
・Lead and manage all sales operations activities in Japan, including process optimization, system management, and reporting
・Maintain and improve systems such as SAP and Salesforce to support sales activities and ensure data accuracy
・Drive Operating Advantage principles within Sales Operations to improve efficiency, eliminate defects, and enable innovation

Requirements
Qualifications
・Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; advanced degree preferred
・Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English
Requirements
・5+ years of experience in sales operations or related roles in automotive industry, e.g., Tier I, Tier II
・Deep understanding of sales operations, CRM/ERP systems, and business analytics
・Proven project management and organizational capabilities
・Experience and knowledge in Salesforce, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
・People Management skills
