Join a leading industrial manufacturing with the automotive space.
The Finance Director is responsible for leading and coordinating all financial activities ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic alignment with Group policies. This role includes oversight of BAU, Program/R&D, and requires close collaboration with internal departments and external partners.
The main missions of the role are:
Financial Operations & Controlling
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting processes (SP, Budget, Forecast, MBR).
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including accruals, reclassifications, and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results through METIS and other systems.
• Manage inventory valuation, depreciation, and breakdown analysis.
• Conduct margin analysis, P&L reviews, and balance sheet reviews.
• Lead internal control activities, including score tracking and action plan updates.
Cash Flow & Treasury
• Monitor and forecast operational cash flow, including capex and working capital.
• Coordinate cash flow action plans across functions.
• Consolidate and validate cash forecasts and perform direct cash analysis.
• Support structural payment improvements for both customers and suppliers.
Program & R&D Controlling
• Oversee program financials across multiple development programs.
• Support BP simulations, gate reviews, and deliverable preparations.
• Track R&D costs and compare against IBP, GR4, and budget.
• Ensure reliability of R&D hourly rates and cost tracking.
• Manage WBS creation, CATS analysis, and R&D cost control.
Compliance & Audit
• Ensure compliance with Finance procedures and internal controls.
• Provide necessary documentation and analysis for internal and external audits.
Systems & Tools
• Participate in the definition and implementation of IT tools and ERP systems.
• Ensure consistency and standardization of controlling processes.
Team Leadership
• Manage and develop the controlling team.
• Foster financial awareness across all functions; provide training and support to each function.
• Interface with the Shared Service Center and other departments to ensure data integrity.
Requirements
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Financial Operations & Controlling
-
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Hands-on expertise with monthly/quarterly/year-end closing.

Ability to perform accruals, reclassifications, reconciliations.

Experience with inventory valuation, depreciation, and margin/P&L analysis.

Strong understanding of balance sheet reviews and internal controls.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management

Ability to monitor, forecast, and analyze operational cash flow.

Experience managing capex and working capital.

Ability to coordinate cash flow action plans across cross-functional teams.
Program & R&D Controlling

Experience overseeing financials for multiple development programs.

Familiarity with BP simulations, gate reviews, and development deliverables.
Compliance & Audit

Strong knowledge of finance procedures, internal control frameworks, and audit requirements.

Ability to prepare documentation for internal/external audits.
Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
