They seek an Account Manager:
- As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving long-term commercial success and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of key programs.
- The role is primarily commercial in nature—covering pricing, contracts, negotiations, and profitability—while also serving as the main customer interface with functions ranging from purchasing and engineering to validation, production, and executive teams.
- You will capture the customer perspective for internal use, manage agreements and business continuity, and monitor satisfaction at senior levels.
- Daily activities include handling quotations, tooling, change requests, receivables/payables, and coordinating responses to surveys or investigations.
- The position also contributes to long-term planning and account strategy, ensuring growth, relationship strength, and sustainable profitability.
Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (MBA a plus)

Languages: Native-level Japanese; business-level English; ability to work with global teams across time zones

Experience: 5+ years sales or account manager in the automotive industry, with Japanese OEMs; strong understanding of JOEM organizations, processes, and automotive hardware/software systems

Strong communication (presentations, business writing) and interpersonal skills

Negotiation, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability

Project management, financial/business data handling, and advanced MS Office (especially Excel)
