Job description
About our client: Europe head-quartered, a leading, globally recognized automotive supplier, renowned for cutting-edge advanced vehicle electronics.
They seek a Project Manager, for their ADAS division:

Managing and executing of international projects with full responsibility in a global context.

Carry out project planning, steering and controlling on the basis of agreed targets and schedule.

Planning and achieving project, quality, timing and commercial targets.

Monitoring project status, workflow and in the case of deviations, changes or change requests to target specifications deciding on corresponding measures and ensuring internal alignment with all relevant stakeholders.

Managing change management in international project set-ups with a clear focus on profit and loss. Steering of change evaluation, approval and implementation steps.

Planning risks and opportunities management

Develop and recommend project risks and opportunities strategy based on project objectives.
Requirements

Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA may be preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar qualifications can be an advantage.

Industry Experience:
- Significant experience (typically 5-10 years) in project management within the automotive industry, particularly with a Tier 1 supplier.
- Experience managing complex projects involving OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and dealing with the automotive product lifecycle.

Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, technologies, and product development cycles.
- Strong understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, technologies, and product development cycles.
- Languages
- Japanese: JLPT N2 at minimum
- Fluent english
