Our client, head quartered in Europe, is an Industrial manufacturing company which was established to handle the sales and marketing of products in the Japanese market. They make mechatronics products for various industrial segments: automotive and off-highway. Their products are well-known for their innovative suspension technology, making them a market leader with a 20% market share in Japan.
This Key Account Manager position is unique because the position has a clearly defined career path to Sales Manager and then the potential for General Manager in future.
The Key Account Manager is responsible for:
- Acquiring new business of mechatronics products for the off-road vehicle market (construction, agriculture, material handling)
- Ensuring that profitable sales volume and strategic objective targets are met for the assigned key accounts.
Key activities include:
- Develop trusted long-term customer relationship with Key Accounts
- Establish business plan and strategy to realize business growth for Key Accounts and improve profitability
- Work with related internal teams in global basis to implement the business plan and deliver solutions to customer
- Implement continuous product promotion, propose solutions that meet customer needs and objectives
- Propose new product development to satisfy customer requirements, create new project
- Lead customer events (techday, presentation, live events), Participate to trade show, exhibition, internal events
- Deal with contact, negotiation and complaint in global basis, supervise regional sales in other countries and make decisions as Key Account Manager (after the certain period of training as regional sales)
- Negotiate with customer head quarter for global RFQ and contracts (after the certain period of training as regional sales)
