This role is QC management within an automotive production plant. The position manages 30 quality people including 3 direct reports. It's a great career-up chance for someone wanting to gain management experience.
Overview:
- Monitor and validate the conformity of components, products / processes in production
- Customer interface for Quality Matters (current production)
- Ensure that the Quality System is respected – coaching site Managers to achieve customer satisfaction for Quality
R&R:
- Manage Quality physical Indicators on the site
- Develop and coordinate the site Quality Improvement plan following guidelines and promote Quality Culture
- Ensure QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) is well implemented and participate daily to the Plant QRQC and Plant Supplier QRQC
- Manage Quality network in the site
- SQA (Supplier Quality Assurance) management in the daily supplier incident management (5W2H) and Quick-Response validation
- Challenge SQA network to obtain FTA (Factor Tree Analysis) in time and confirm PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action).
- Manage the Quality Project-Team-Member for Serial production and New production
- Audit the Quality System periodically (Internal and support of Customer Audit)
- Participate in the project launch meetings
- Represent Customer internally on Quality matters (Communication / Escalation)
- Manage the quick responses for incidents internally and with Customer, and support the team analysing the incidents.
- Represent Quality in Technical Committee when relevant and / or Site Change Committee.
